![]() Why not make aspects of them out of machine parts? That would be far more humane than killing "real" androids. ![]() It'd be screwed up to create androids simply to die. Killing them is "more humane" than killing a real living human. However, creating clones meant only for this purpose (supposedly) sidesteps this issue. You could easily harvest existing people for their parts, but that's screwed up from most people's point of view. My closest analogy would be those movies where clones are harvested for their parts, like in The Island. They're not really "the same" as machines, just made out of some of the same parts. They weren't meant to be less intelligent, emotional, or aware, since the data about their combat abilities or emotional resilience was meant to be used in the next generation. YoRHa androids are meant to be the prototypes for the next stage of android production. Are the Yorha androids purposely so heavy because they were made from machines or do the normal androids weigh just as much? Also even though Pod can carry them in jumping tall heights if you just land yourself without Pod you don't really make a crater or any kind of large impact by jumping off tall buildings with that kind of mass. And whatever material they are made from has to be able to handle enormous force and stress in the ankle and foot joints from repeated jumping/running/etc. Not to mention all the run down buildings and wooden bridges they can so casually race across don't strain or break under that weight. Something that heavy would definitely make some noise and vibration especially from all that heavy running and acrobatics they do in the fights. Plus everytime 2B and 9S walk they don't make a loud noise from footsteps. If the androids really weigh that much how can she so easily jump so high or ride the animals without breaking their backs? I don't know about moose but pigs shouldn't be that strong. YoRHa Commander - Bust: 92cm Waist: 61cm Hip: 94cm Height: 175cm Weight: 166.8kg So what effect if any did making Yorha androids off of machine AI have in reducing their intelligence/self-awareness? Is there no difference had the creators made Yorha from "normal" android AI vs machine AI?Īnd regarding 2B's weight from the Yorha worldbook, she weighsĢB - Bust: 84cm Waist: 56cm Hip: 88cm Height: 168cm Weight: 148.8kgĪ2 - Bust: 73cm Waist: 54cm Hip: 82cm Height: 168cm Weight: 139.2kg Ok since Yorha black boxes are said to be made from machine cores and they are basically the same as machines I wonder what the effect of that was? I mean the creators of Yorha intended them to be made from machine AI because they felt it was more "humane" to have a dumbed down AI that couldn't feel as much suffering as a regular android AI but in the game and story the Yorha AI show as much intelligence and self-awareness as the other androids.
